I am looking for a PhD student to work on a USDA-NIFA funded grant on estimating agrohydrological impacts of soil organic carbon change across aridity regimes. Start date preferably Fall 2023. If interested, DM me or send an email to [email protected] 1/2

Had a productive time advocating for agricultural research funding as a 2022 #SEEDambassador. Met with Sen. Tammy Baldwin, Senator Ron Johnson, and Congressman Mark Pocan's offices to discuss funding for AFRI and AgARDA programs. #agriculturalresearch #funding #FarmBill

Attended an exciting talk by Dr.Katie Gold, PhD on plant disease sensing in grapes. Just learned about fascinating research on plant disease sensing using satellite imagery. Exciting developments in the field of plant pathology!! #PlantDisease #PathogenInteractions #SatelliteImages

Loved seeing UW–Madison CALS research done by UW–Madison graduate students in the State Capitol today. #tomato #beans #soil #water

Had an amazing day presenting my research on optimizing nitrogen rates for snap beans using remote sensing at UW day! Excessive nitrogen application causes groundwater contamination, but remote sensing can have a positive impact on the farming communities in Wisconsin UW–Madison

What a wonderful day yesterday celebrating all that is UW–Madison! Faculty, staff, students, alumni all involved in making this a spectacular day! Thank you! ❤️🎉 news.wisc.edu/uw-madison-spe…

I had a fantastic time at the 2023 ASA-SSSA-CSSA meeting, and won first prize in the Sensor-Based Nutrient Management Oral Competition. 🏆Big thanks to Agronomy, Crop, and Soil Science Societies for their generous funding and Dr. Yi Wang and Dr. Phil Townsend for opportunity. 🙏🔬 #acsmtg #Research

Honored to present on hyperspectral imaging for sustainable nitrogen management at North American Plant Phenotyping Network. Connecting with peers and insightful talks were the highlights. Plus, a tour of Corteva U.S.'s HQ – an eye-opening view into agricultural innovation! #PrecisionAg
