Has anyone measured DT of pulmonary venous diastolic velocity (DT PVD) and used it for echo assessment of diastolic function? I have never measured, and this parameter is now featured in the new BSE guidelines (yet published) for echo assessment of diastolic function #echofirst

It is important to note that not all thick-walled ventricles are the same and that the assessment of them must be done correctly each time. Adding in strain imaging is not a diagnosis in these cases BUT can be a red flag to assist the clinician on the path to diagnosis 28/32
