Addo Football Youth Academy is a full time soccer entity formed in 2014 in Nomathamsanqa Location Addo. The program was formed due to the vulnerability of children and lack of life skills, through AFYA we counter crime, gang, drug/ alcohol abuse that are rife in our community...

Volunteers administrators and coaches involved in all AFYA activities as they teach boys & girls of all ages ( selected based on their behavior and ability to play soccer) makes a difference in the community.

Addo is a rural area in the Sarah Baartman district that has 9 municipalities, Addo is located in the Sunday's river valley Municipality. Mission statement • AFYA uses the power of sports to educate, inspire and mobilize community via educational life skills to stop crime.

Simnikiwe Mbonde "Etto" is a 19 year's old striker from AFYA who was signed by one of the biggest clubs in South African, Mamelodi Sundowns. Etto is playing the reserve league side at Downs. Etto was also named the Engen KO 2018 player of the tournament.
