I do understand why you're keen on Corbyn. He made the whole "Labour can't win, so we should choose independence" argument more credible.

No shortage of nutters in the nationalist movement to adopt that approach. Likely to be as successful as the failed IRA campaign over the past century.

I can see good reasons for both John Swinney and Kate Forbes to not want to do the FM job - family reasons, and political ones. What happens if nobody comes forward ? Does Humza just stay on indefinitely ?

Kate Forbes takes half of Shona Robison's job and half of Mairi McAllan's, yet all three of them get a full ministerial salary ? Trebles all round !
