Association of Fishers and Lake Users of Uganda will hold a general assembly on 6/07/2023. The event will take place at Ggaba Beach hotel. During this General Assembly, there will be electing of the new leadership of the Association as well.

AFALU in partnership with Preventive Care International has provided health care services to fishing communities especially HIV prevention and care services, prevention of STIs and use of family planning methods. This is achieved through support from Pepfar under American Embassy
A Nile perch fisherman preparing his fish bait. That in the picture is ants that are being hooked and later the hooks with the bait will be laid in water to trap the Nile perch as it eats the ants (bait). There is a wide variety of bait used in Nile perch fishing.
