Today we celebrate and honor Juneteenth, a day of freedom! 156 years ago, federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to take control of the state and ensure all enslaved people are freed. Nearly 3 years after the emancipation proclamation was signed. Happy Juneteenth!

The Evergreen School District Board of Trustees recently honored our national team and Advantage Communications staff for their achievements throughout the 2020-21 school year. "Speech and debate turned into family, home… made me feel that we weren't in a midst of a pandemic.”
