38-year-old Habiba Mai Talata is a house-to house volunteer mobilizer from Rumde Ward in Yola North LGA of Adamawa State. She has been supporting house-to-house vaccination campaigns for over 10 years now. #AfricaKicksOutWildPolio #EndPolio

She is one of 452 volunteers working hard to raise awareness of the importance of vaccinating children against polio and other deadly diseases. She is supported in her work by the Adamawa SPHCDA and UNICEF.

In 2020, more than 75,000 children under the age of 5 were diagnosed & treated using ALMANACH. To mark #WCID2021, we highlight this important project in partnership with the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute and the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency.
