Adv. Simon Waiswa chaired the panel of hearing officers who weaponized the Union's disciplinary mechanisms to exile Ivan Magomu. The DC issued multiple sanctions for the same offense in complete disregard of the Wednesbury test on unreasonable exercise of conferred authority.

The hearing officers verified the ruling on July 16, 2025. But the same was transmitted to Magomu's club by the Union's CEO via email on Wednesday 6th August, 2025 at 10:32 am. The Cranes' shambolic performance in the World Cup qualifier prompted the Union to holdup the ruling.
