Was just pondering about how both writing and programming can rewrite your brain, and came to the following, which gave me pause: Struck and White literally changed the way in which I think. How I actually cogitate. Not a lot of authors out there for which this is true, for me.

I remember designing and building the original Playdium website in 1996 (I have screen caps somewhere of the work we did...), and being invited to the Grand Opening of Playdium at the time. Both were experiences I obviously won’t forget.

TIL that oil companies are the largest purchasers of hazelnut shells in Norway. True fact. Not sure what you’re (or me, for that matter) going to do with that information, but there it is. Now it’s a thing we both know. And that’s kinda magical, if you think about it.

We all keep hearing about VR, but I seriously don't see a world in which people are working and living and playing in VR. I do see a world where people are living their lives in augmented reality though. And not just smart glasses. Think ubiquitous audio AR too. Going to be huge.
