Tämä on hyvä alku. Satakunnassa on alettu eristämään koronapotilaat ensimmäisenä alueena Suomessa. Maskit käytössä henkilökunnalla. 2/x

The lesser evil is still evil. You can hold your nose and vote for (lesser) evil once in a blue moon as a temporary, tactical solution. If you have to vote for (lesser) evil 15 times, you are just a cog in an evil machine.

Just sent out this piece. Equating Trump to Neville Chamberlain is unfair on Chamberlain (and Daladier). Trump is actively trying to help and support Putin--that was not the case with appeasement. The policy failed, but it was different.

Euroopassa pitää ymmärtää, että Trumpin hallinnon touhut eivät ole harkittuja "viestejä" vaan siellä käyttävät nyt hallitsematonta valtaa ihmiset, joiden tarkoituksena on vain tuhota kaikki mikä sillä hetkellä, asioihin perehtymättä, ei satu miellyttämään cnn.com/2025/02/14/cli…

Obsession with culture wars seems to lead, inevitably, to Cultural Revolution. Mao salutes you comrades Trump, Musk, Vance and the rest of the gang.

Not true. I'll give you some examples of when styles crossed over from womenswear to menswear, and how men have worn straight-up womenswear or just feminine styles in cool ways. 🧵

Failure to assimilate new scientific explanations require long threads. This 👇 is a good one. Lingering question: why do we see such failures so often in medicine?

Dualism has a lot to answer for. Your consciousness exists within your brain. And when the brain is affected, consciousness is affected. Covid infections do things to your brain, like inflammation, that worsen mental health disorders, like anxiety. This is very simple science.

Last week we had the awful news that a member of our community died unexpectedly from a sudden medical condition aged 41. A dedicated professional, a friend, mother, wife, daughter, sister. A huge sudden painful hole in the community. I wanted to write a quick thread about it.

When governments told people that they were ill because they hadn't been ill enough, the wheels fell off modern medicine.
