@oni_blackstock I miss my students so much... but in a remote setting i can turn off my camera and have the response to the overt racism happening in meetings and I can decide to leave them if it gets too traumatic. It has been a blessing in disguise. Not sure I’m ready to be back.

We have to start teaching children about rejection at a young age in schools. We have to teach them about consent. We have to teach them that “no” is not the end of the world, nor is it an attack. It’s merely a “no.”

It’s so fishy to me that there wasn’t a moratorium on rent with a bank bailout, at least here in the US, where, in the past, the banks were bailed out for stuff that was there own fault.
