Flawed assumptions. Job’s friend Eliphaz validly points out in Job 4:7-8 that "those who plant evil will harvest evil." But in Job’s case, his assumption was wrong. We should be careful not to draw flawed conclusions when friends or people are in awkward situations.

Error of Judgement. Flawed premise inevitably leads to false conclusion. Eliphaz thought that Job was suffering because of his evil. He applied the sowing and reaping principle — that all human actions have consequences (Galatians 6:7). Eliphaz got it wrong. His friend Job
