On this day in 2017, the Georgia Swarm won the NLL Champion's Cup. The Swarm beat the Saskatchewan Rush 2-0 in the series and won the series-clinching Game 2, 15-14 in OT in Saskatoon. This was the Miles Thompson goal (assisted by Lyle Thompson) that won the Swarm the cup.
