Saw a couple of headlines today about #bitcoin being in a bear market. NO SO FAST! Wait for a sustainable bottom to appear, then take the other side of the trade. (BBs can help a lot here.)

That's an important reversal for $BTCUSD at its lower Bollinger Band. Should be good for a long trade with targets at the middle and upper bands. The problem is that today's very long tail doesn't suggest a logical place to set a reasonable stop for the trade.

Bollinger Bands define high and low on a relative basis. By definition prices are high at the upper band and low at the lower band.
