Blair Oaks goes from losing in its district opener in its first 2 seasons in program history to taking 2nd place in Class 1 in its 3rd season. The Lady Falcons end their season with a 16-8-1 record. #mopreps

Today’s Final Four girls soccer games wrap up another school year for our quartet at News Tribune Sports. Some of us wrapped up Year 40, some of us wrapped up Year 1. It has been a busy 10 months, but we enjoyed covering Mid-Missouri sports. Time to recharge for the 2025-26 school year.

Kudos to MSHSAA on getting in all 24 baseball games at the state championships, when it would have been easy to save time and just cancel some of the third-place games. I know Ozark has a turf field, but with all the rain and lightning delays, that truly was a difficult task.

BREAKING: Toronto Blue Jays prospect and Fatima graduate Will Robertson is being called up to the major leagues. Robertson hit .288 with 12 home runs and 35 RBI in Triple-A this season. Robertson could make his MLB debut as soon as tomorrow in St. Louis.
