ACT hosted an intergenerational session in #Tripoli where youth & individuals from the war generation had a dialogue on Dealing with the Past in #Lebanon. It was followed by digital content training for the youth to share knowledge widely. Supported by Austria in Lebanon MFA Austria

ACT kicked off an exciting art project with American Community School Beirut. We briefed students on #Lebanon's war history and the importance of #DealingWithThePast Ms. Zarkout shared the touching story of her dad's disappearance. Rest in peace, Elias Khoury, a great writer and human. I had the honor of working with him briefly, and be touched by his brilliance and kindness. He opened "The Soil and the Sea" with a beautiful poem.

In "The White Sea" Elias talked about the death and disappearance of Lebanese, Syrian, and Palestinian people -- a cause he deeply cared about. May our film memorialize his important and impactful work ❤️
