Very interesting findings! The Nordic curl elicited greater hypertrophy of the ST compared to the SDL. OTOH, the SDL elicited greater hypertrophy of the SM than the Nordic curl. Take home: combining both is synergistic to maximize hypertrophy of the hams journals.physiology.org/doi/abs/10.115…

As left ventricle mass increases with endurance training, diastolic function improves. As left ventricle mass increases with resistance training, diastolic function worsens. “Do I need to do cardio if I lift a lot and stay lean?” Yes, and walking doesn’t cut it, IMO.
