The police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and apprehending a male suspect involved in an attempted robbery at a convenience store located at the junction of Temple and New Streets. If you have info, contact CID at 462-3913, 911, or the nearest police station.

The Police have arrested and charged 38-year-old Tony Bright. It is alleged that Bright broke into a business and stole an undisclosed sum of money, along with several electronic items. The total value of the stolen property is estimated at $9,070.

Senior Magistrate Ngaio Emmanuel has granted Brian Benjamin bail.  He will have to pay a $20,000 bail with a $5000 cash component.  The 59-year-old appeared in the magistrates' court early Tuesday on a shooting with intent to murder charge.   More in the ABS News.
