1/n 🚨 Last preprint from our lab Max Gutierrez The Francis Crick Institute is now available on bioRxiv Microbiology! 🚨 Some Christmas Read 📚 🎁🌲☃️🎅 for our TB Community 😊 Here, we investigate PZA mode of action in cellulo by using live-cell imaging 🔬🦠💊 👇👇👇👇👇 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Fun collaboration spearheaded by Mike Wuo with Eric Rubin Lab the Hung group Broad Institute, and the Garner group (Ethan Garner) to image the mycobacterial lipids #TB in the presence of #antibiotics (Rifampicin results in outer membrane vesicles below). biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

We had a great experience with Nature Reviews Microbiology and the reviewers to put this review together on mycobacterial heterogeneity. I love a good phase diagram, so I am stoked that we use one here as a proposed way to integrate knowledge moving forward. #tuberculosis

Excited to share our lab’s latest research article led by Felipe Badke d'Andrea and nick poulton, now on Science Advances. In this work we dissected the in vivo contributions of the essential caseinolytic protease subunits, ClpP1 and ClpP2, to M. #tuberculosis growth and pathogenesis

Very happy to share our article in bioRxiv showing that we can now reliably detect pyrazinamide activity in vitro. biorxiv.org/content/10.110… I really hope this work will contribute to the fight against antibiotic-resistant TB. Thank you so much to Claire Healy Ehrt & Schnappinger Labs

Really proud of the hard work from our group that made getting these awards possible! Excited about the science we are going to be able to do for the next few years!!! Thanks @MSU_MMG and MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine for all the support!

🦠 Want to identify processes enabling pathogenic bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics? 💊 Want to chemically interfere with these processes? 🔬 Want to do this in London, The Francis Crick Institute? 👋 Then join my lab! We’re recruiting 2x 4-year postdocs. crick.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/External/job/L…

Excited to share our new preprint describing the single-cell growth behaviors of pathogenic Mycobacterium #tuberculosis with Eun Seon Chung Prathitha Kar Ariel Senz and Maliwan Kamkaew 1/5
