Excited to share that Jonah, Yoni, and Nhi’s new paper is up on bioRxiv. We collaborated with the Artem Sokolov @HiTSatHarvard to create rulesets that describe how to construct effective drug combinations for #tuberculosis. 1/6

We had a great experience with Nature Reviews Microbiology and the reviewers to put this review together on mycobacterial heterogeneity. I love a good phase diagram, so I am stoked that we use one here as a proposed way to integrate knowledge moving forward. #tuberculosis

I am happy to share our new study on bioRxiv! In this study, conducted by @artdechow, Rajni Goyal and @biobenkJ, we found that the M. tuberculosis PhoPR regulon is regulated by CO2 and propose that PhoPR functions as an environmental CO2 sensor. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Excited to share the latest work from our lab and Kaj. This was a great collaborative effort seeking to elucidate how M. tuberculosis gene cinA mediates tolerance to multiple clinically relevant drugs. (1/4) nature.com/articles/s4146…

Out today, on the features and ecosystems behind tuberculosis control (or lack thereof)! Even in a single host, TB granulomas can have independent paths: in some, the host immune system will sterilize & kill off bacteria; in others, bacteria survive & thrive long-term. Why? (1/n)

Excited to share our lab’s latest research article led by Felipe Badke d'Andrea and nick poulton, now on Science Advances. In this work we dissected the in vivo contributions of the essential caseinolytic protease subunits, ClpP1 and ClpP2, to M. #tuberculosis growth and pathogenesis

Very happy to share our article in bioRxiv showing that we can now reliably detect pyrazinamide activity in vitro. biorxiv.org/content/10.110… I really hope this work will contribute to the fight against antibiotic-resistant TB. Thank you so much to Claire Healy Ehrt & Schnappinger Labs

🚨PREPRINT ANNOUNCEMENT!🚨 How does our #gut #microbiome conjugate bile acids? And what are the impacts of these bile acids on the gut #microbiota, both at the strain and population level? We start to answer these in our recent work. 🧵 doi.org/10.21203/rs.3.…
