Today's Cabinet proves Liberals offer more of the same: more inflation, more costly housing, more crime and drugs. Conservatives will hold them to account, while pushing solutions to give people back their lives and country.

Prime Minister Carney promised change. But where is it? His main cabinet players and front bench remain virtually unchanged, and he has no roadmap forward. Mr. Carney said “a plan is better than no plan”. I agree? Where is your plan, Mr. Carney?

A budget is a plan. Carney doesn’t have a budget = Carney doesn’t have a plan. The Prime Minister talks a good game, but less than a month after the election, we can all tell his words were empty. Where’s your plan, Prime Minister?

This afternoon, High Commissioner Prosper Higiro had a meeting with Ziad Aboultaif, Member of Parliament for Edmonton Manning. They discussed parliamentary diplomacy, and closer ties between #Rwanda and #Alberta.

President Trump has doubled tariffs on steel and aluminium. That is wrong and unacceptable. Canada must stand up strongly to President Trump, as a united and sovereign nation. No matter what, we will defend our country, people, and economy.

The Government's new defence spending announcement is encouraging. But where is the plan? What will the additional billions of dollars be spent on? The PM is finally talking the talk. Now he needs to walk the walk.

Will PM Carney disregard all elements of transparency and accountability like his predecessor or will he finally show Canadian taxpayers the respect that they deserve?

I am very saddened to hear of the devastating Air India crash which saw 242 lives lost, one of whom was a Canadian. My deepest thoughts are with the families of the lost as they grapple with this difficult time.

Car theft is at an all time high. Theft attempts are taking place on the driveways of government officials and Premiers. Yet the Carney government is taking no action. What about the millions of Canadians fearing for their property without having 24 hour security details?
