Are any Deaf organisations interested in producing opportunities for young Deaf graduates to develop career skills, provide workshops and paid internships?

Nothing triggers me as much as when someone says; ‘she doesn’t listen’ I openly tell you I am deaf, yes partially but I AM STILL DEAF. You cannot just listen harder to hear. Get a grip and use your brain.

Therapy is an essential survival tool!

I need a therapy session like now and my therapist hasn’t replied to my message from four days ago. My frustration is overwhelming at this point and I do not have a coping technique for this unresolved emotion.

When your tears flow at night because of a conversation but the person doesn’t even know how upset you are.

Sometimes silence is all I got. Maybe feeling worse emotionally because of menses but this sucks.

People who have no respect for your privacy but expect extra cautions for their privacy are a joke.

When your happiness is tainted by other peoples life situation and instead of being able to enjoy your moment it’s full of distress, frustration and enraged miscommunication. So disheartening.

The only reason people hate boundaries is because they want to continue disrespecting you.

Feeling so down and deflated and alone. PMS sucks. Stress sucks and Asian family communication skills belong in the bin.

Phone call from the hospital: you missed your appointment. Me: which appointment? Hospital: we sent the letter. Me: I told you before, I’m blind, email me. Hospital: We don’t use email. Me: what year is it?!! We have a right to accessible communication. #Accessibility
