I have Participated in the Pre-LCOY Somalia event, a pre-conference for the major LCOY Somalia. The Purpose was for youth to discuss climate change and how to make our voices heard. We Collaborated on a document representing youth concerns about environmental issues in Somalia.

I am pleased to have participated in Lcoyn Somalia. Over the last two days, we engaged in productive discussions regarding the impacts of climate change in Somalia and the crucial role that educated young Somalis can play in addressing these challenges.

I am Thrilled to complete my 5-month internship at the IED Center, where I worked on the ‘Navigating Developmental Milestones’ project. I gained invaluable insights into early childhood development and the importance of social work in shaping children’s futures.

I am excited to have completed a 3-day digital storytelling training on climate change, organized by UNSOM I gained invaluable skills to highlight climate issues through storytelling and reach wider audiences. I am grateful to the UN & dedicated mentors for their guidance.

I am honored to participate in a meeting led by Somalia’s Ministry of Justice to validate the Justice System Strategy 2025–2030. Stakeholders united to shape a more equitable and accessible justice system for all Somalis. Proud to contribute to this vital reform.

I am exited to participate UNHCR Somalia -led Child Protection Cluster meeting, bringing together participants from Somali states to review progress and set new priorities for child welfare. Grateful to contribute to vital discussions and advocate for protecting vulnerable children.

I attended a three-day workshop on Civic Activism & Urban Citizenship in Mogadishu, where I presented my research on mental health challenges in Somalia. Grateful for the insights shared with youth leaders & researchers. Thanks to Heritage Institute, SGEM & for organizing this.

I am Honored to join the Human Rights Short Film Competition & filmmaking workshop in Mogadishu, supported by the UNTMIS This experience reinforced my belief in storytelling as a tool for advocacy. As a social worker, I’ll keep using my platform to amplify voices & drive change
