Last week, nearly 70 Abaarso School parents joined a special all-parent meeting. Abaarso management shared updates on the new discipline system, while Post-Abaarso Director Elizabeth provided insights on student opportunities abroad and the impact of the U.S. travel ban on visas.

Meet Idil! One of #BarwaaqoUniversity's proud graduates now shaping young minds at #KaabeSchools. With 90% of Kaabe teachers being Barwaaqo alum, her story shows how Abaarso Network is building a self-sustaining education system led by its own graduates.

The Art & Photography Club at #AbaarsoSchool recently visited Fankeenna, a vibrant art space in Hargeisa celebrating creativity and cultural storytelling. Students learned from local artists, explored new forms of self-expression, and saw how art builds community.

Over the past six weeks, #KaabeSchools students have been mastering the Rubik’s Cube with Hal-Xidhaale Smart Zone - learning patience and problem-solving along the way. They wrapped up the half term with a fun day and will return next week for a Rubik’s Cube competition!

General Manager Mohamed Ali Darood of the Hargeisa Water Agency welcomed #AbaarsoNetwork management to the new Kalqorey Dam. The visit focused on water provision and sustainability in Hargeisa. Proud of our alumni contributing and working in the Water Agency!

As part of the #AbaarsoSchool boarding school selection process, finalists took on an exciting “Escape Room” challenge to test communication and problem-solving skills. This is one of the ways Abaarso identifies students who are ready to thrive in international boarding schools.

#AbaarsoSchool students continue to lead their own learning! The student-led Model UN club visited the Somaliland Parliament for a day of exploration and discovery — debating global issues, engaging with local governance, and connecting classroom learning to the real world.
