I wrote a lot about the people I call "shapers" in my book Principles: Life & Work. I use the word to mean someone who comes up with unique and valuable visions and builds them out beautifully, typically over the doubts of others. Shapers get both the big picture and the details

Agency > Intelligence I had this intuitively wrong for decades, I think due to a pervasive cultural veneration of intelligence, various entertainment/media, obsession with IQ etc. Agency is significantly more powerful and significantly more scarce. Are you hiring for agency? Are

The same will happen for humanoids and other robots. Cheap tactile and actuator encoders will lead the way for low cost robots when the control loops are designed to handle them robustly.

Manus just blessed me AGAIN They saw how quickly we ran through the first 100 community codes… so they gave me 500 more…. If you missed out on the first round, here’s your chance: 1. Retweet this post 2. Follow 3. DM me “MANUS” If you got the access code in the first

Forked FreeCAD and made a “cursor for cad” prototype that can export STEP files with iterable geometry. I’m a mechanical engineer so I know how users would actually interact with this + what’s needed who wants to give me money to build this /collab there’s a lot more to be done

Research out of China; they used ice lithography to fabricate 72 nm patterns on living tardigrades. The wild thing isn’t just that they “tattooed” tardigrades. It’s that tardigrades are so resilient, and focused electron beams so precise, that 40% of them survived and went

So Flow Matching is *just* xt = mix(x0, x1, t) loss = mse((x1 - x0) - nn(xt, t)) Nice, here it is in a fragment shader :) shadertoy.com/view/tfdXRM
