There is REWARD in overcoming temptation and not giving into sin. The reward is knowing Jesus better and becoming more like Him. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” James 4:7-8

What God says, He WILL do. As we get to know Him more, we grow to trust Him and grow in assurance that His words and promises towards us truly do never fail. Christmas is a great example of God fulfilling His word. Micah 5:2, Isaiah 7:14

At the end of our life the single thing that will matter is our relationship with Jesus. God, open our eyes to the depth of this truth. “I am the way the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

To walk in a manner worthy of the calling God has called you to, hold onto these truths: 1) God chose you before the foundation of the world. 2) He has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Christ in the heavenly places. Ephesians 1:3-4
