Homophobic slurs are NEVER ok. Homophobic slurs aren’t ok in the theatre just because we’ve touched on the subject in the show. On top of this, NOTHING is ok to say in the QUIET pause that an actor is taking. A disgusting member of the audience tonight. Do better.

Disgusted to hear what happened at Heathers last night. There is no place for homophobia anywhere in this world but in THE THEATRE of all places? Absolutely not. People really sicken me sometimes.

I was diagnosed with PTSD and a side effect was hair loss. Brushing would pull chunks of hair out and I would find hair on my pillow and around my flat on a daily basis, just like the one in the photo. At its worst, it was only an inch or two long in places…

It’s completely soul destroying and embarrassing. After 10 months of hiding my hair, avoiding photos, wearing hats and headbands... my hair is finally growing back!” Please reach out if you need help… 💗 #Repost Solace Women's Aid

Today is the 2 year anniversary of Together We Stand U.K. After a much needed pause, I am keen to keep pushing forward with these important and much neglected issues. I’m leaving this here as a reminder - the MD who injured and abused me on countless occasions.

The same MD was arrested and is currently awaiting charges. To the people who have shown me overwhelming support, I see you. To the people who choose to ignore, I see you too.

This is a battle so much bigger than my case though. It’s one battle in a huge war. Abuse is prevalent in the Arts, there are huge gaps in legislation and there is a vast amount of misconduct and negligence within the police force. It’s an uphill struggle.

The number one reason why people don’t speak up is fear of repercussions. We need to stand tall and not be afraid. I’m not afraid. Together We Stand UK 💗

International Women’s Day… International women’s day is a day to acknowledge women’s rights, equality and a time to celebrate the achievements of astounding women across the globe. I’ve never considered myself to be a feminist but I do consider myself to be a fighter!

I applaud all women fighting their respective battles, no matter how big or small. Life is a journey and I have certainly had a challenging one! Words cannot express how much love I have for my family and friends who have shown unconditional love and support.

Kelly Everitt (@kellyeveritt) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I am also hugely proud of myself. I am passionate, ambitious and have overcome what have life has thrown to the best of my ability. I don’t have all the answers but I do know that I will continue to learn and grow.

I’m sorry but what the fuck is wrong with people and when are we going to start calling people out rather than worrying about job they do. It’s utterly barbaric and inhumane. Together We Stand UK metro.co.uk/2025/04/03/med…
