If you only apply the “forced consent” argument to sex work and not every other job under capitalism, then you don’t care about labor rights, you just hate sex workers.

Sex work isn’t rare. It isn’t some extreme, fringe path taken only by a specific “type” of person. It’s something everyday people turn to when it makes sense for them be it financially, or personally or even as a career move. You very likely know and love a SWer.

Autonomy isn’t controversial unless you think you own people. Your lack of approval doesn’t negate someone else’s consent.

Many libertarians and liberty-minded people get it, but when talking to people newer to the issue of SW, we need to stress what legal models work (decrim) and what models don't (regulation). The best example of why regulation fails can be found in Nevada’s brothel system.
