I’m still thinking about #Adolescence this morning. Ep 3 was so impactful but no-one’s talking about the guard who kept following Briony around, bothering her, whilst she’s trying to do her job. Another example of intimidating male behaviour that is so subtle it gets ignored.

The twist of #Adolescence is that this isn't drama, this is reality. They've pointed the gun at its audience and said "haven't you woken up yet, this has happening". This twist is you look at your phone and it's real, this happens everyday. That it isn't fantasy, it's truth.

TV meets film - depth, space & nuance but also impact. Let's stop saying that no-one wants limited series.
