no because jun was going against fucking YUZURU HANYU, NATHAN CHEN, SHOMA UNO, YUMA KAGIYAMA and was happier knowing he had to literally fight all demons to get a medal then now that he is indeed able to go front to front with both illia and yuma

when the BEST skater in the world currently competing is shrugging his shoulders saying "i knew how it was going to be judged even before i saw the results" after ONE step-out in the highest quality programme in the field....congratulations your sport is fundamentally broken!!!!!

Yuzuru and Junhwan trained together for so many years, they know each other since Junhwan was 13/14, they had the same coach, so if you see Yuzu in Jun, it must be because of that. Yuzu was a great hyung and mentor for Junhwan

You could see on his face he was thinking he’d finally broken the 100 barrier and was so excited about it. You rarely see someone skate with this much joy and freedom, and the judges threw it all in the trash. For what?

okay so my fave routines from the sp were (in no particular order): yuma kagiyama, adam siao him fa, junhwan cha, shun sato, stephen gogolev, jin boyang and donovan carrillo

ilia 9.25 presentation score being higher than yuma, adam and junhwan is insane???? the fact that junhwan’s presentation was in the 8’s alone is ridiculous i don’t think we watched the same skates as the judges icl

i will be honest and say i don’t think kevin aymoz’s performance was that impressive
