First full week of July done, and I can’t stop thinking about how grateful I am to be here. We are so lucky to start with a month of skills lab, brushing up on things we used to know (😬), and learning lots that we didn’t! Plus, scoping grapefruits is my new favorite activity 😁

Two of the four interns on SICU were down with symptomatic Covid all week and we were DROWNING. 🙌🏼 none of our patients have been positive but pls it’s not over I have the nose bruises to prove it.

This is my dear friend, Nakita. Nakita and I were medical school classmates and both interns in New York City. Nakita tragically took her own life on May 26. She is such a beautiful soul. She was so fun to be around. She was intelligent, charismatic, and confident. (1/x)
