This bowfin put up a fight...big joker. Haven't caught one of these in a long time...usually catch them during the cooler months when ain't much else biting. Hunting catfish but other predators will hit cut eel as well

Morning meditation 🧘‍♂️. After losing a nice size cat at the bank on one rod because I had some light line I took a trip to Walmart and got some braided line...fixed that problem. Test run this morning

I told my older Fishing buddy that him and I going from strangers to Fishing buddies Is like hitting the lottery with me...I'm a true introvert and I don't deal with people like that....I be to myself. Bumped into him at the river last year and we been friends ever since

After I got done fishing I said I might as well change the line on my other bigger game rod. This lady kept me company till I finished
