The results of the world’s largest trial of a 4-day week (with no loss of pay) are out: ▪️ No drop in revenue ▪️ 65% fewer sick days ▪️ 71% less burnout ▪️ 92% of companies decide to keep the policy after the trial The conclusion is clear: we need a shorter working week.

I am pleased to see that momentum for a 4-day week continues to grow. The evidence is clear: a reduction in hours boosts productivity & improves wellbeing. As we said in our 2019 manifesto, "time off to rest, relax and be with family is essential to a happy & fulfilling life."

Doubled medical school places will give you more GPs in 10-11 years at best. Much more sensible to retain the ones we already have, by expanding postgraduate training capacity and boosting pay/conditions. Also would need to make GP itself more palatable.

Today it has been reported that during our first round of action in England mortality rate was 11.1% above the 5 year average. What they haven’t reported was that in Wales, where no strike action took place, mortality rate was 14% above the 5 year average. 1/3
