I really appreciate reading this @toulastake. Living in #TorontoDanforth we're surrounded by public parks, but car-centric streets and lack of #PoliticalWill by Climate Action Critic @peter_tabuns, has made access by #WalkTO/#BikeTO lacking & unsafe. Waiting for his plan forward.

I took the family to Montreal last weekend. We wandered around the Plateau Friday night & rode bikes all Saturday in the rain. It was wonderful. There were cars, sure, but ours sat in the hotel garage. Any city can have a network of linked, protected routes. How? Incrementally.

Names of ticket winners will be pulled next Monday, so there's still time to get a raffle ticket if you want a chance at winning two tickets to the Charli XCX show (valued over $400)! All the funds raised support the revitalization of the Kanien’kéha (Mohawk) language

“Why should I pay? A universal lunch program penalizes those who take responsibility.” What a weird take. Why? For the same reason I, a non-parent, happily pay school taxes. For the common good. School lunches provide a safety net for vulnerable kids who fall through the cracks.
