Industrially produced trans fatty acids (iTFAs) are major dietary risk factors for #NCDs & #CVDs . Despite progress, Pakistan remains in less restrictive category on the WHO TFA Score Card. Pakistan must adopt best practices to limit iTFAs to under 2% in all foods without delay.

In 2013, #KP was the 1st province to enact a good right to info law & establish an Info Commission. Imran Khan himself launched it. But the #RTI Commission is now incomplete. 02 posts of Info commissioners are vacant since Nov 18, 2019 & July 14, 2022. dawn.com/news/1037068

I filed a 1/10 application to become a party to the petition challenging the ban on X before the IHC. The application was supposed to come up in the urgent list on May 2, but my counsel was told it would be heard with the main case which was on serial no 13 in the regular list.
