Construction of 6 new pop up cycleways is underway! It's all about giving a safe, viable option for short trips, to free up space on public transport for those who can't ride. The first 3 pop ups will be open by 30 June, with 3 more following very soon! Transport for NSW

2/3 It will make bike riding easier and safer to take pressure off public transport and freeing up space for people who cannot ride or drive. To stop a second wave while allowing people to move safely about the city, bike riding and walking must be given more priority.

3/3 Of the 116 parking spaces affected, 23 are resident parking spaces, the remainder were unrestricted spaces. Our parking survey has shown more than adequate capacity for parking on adjacent streets is available.
