No economic growth or increase in productivity will be possible if we don’t support care workers and caregivers. Because they do the work that lets us all go to work.

We passed a ban on replacement workers last night. This is one of the most seminal moments in Canadian labour history. I want to thank all the labour leaders, activists and workers who have worked so hard over decades to finally make this happen.
