While during the pandemic I was a 🥔 that mostly travelled between the fridge and the couch, this 150 g seabird migrated >55,000 km from Chile to Japan and back across the vast Pacific Ocean!

Stoked to have published in Science Magazine, but this is not a happy Letter. Portuguese farmland birds are in an all-time low, and the Ministries of Agricultura PT and Ambiente e Ação Climática PT must act together ASAP to make farmlands biodiverse, Healthy and functional again.
