Two wks ago today was the clue.

Stocks were down big due to NVIDIA, but there were many signs most stocks had bottomed and were improving.

We said then the odds favored a low very soon and no 10% correction like they were promising us.

Looking more like another May rally.

Remember when they told us because the first yr of the bull market was weak (only 21%) it was a sign the bull was in danger?

We noted at the time that historically a weaker first yr just meant a stronger second yr.

S&P 500 up nearly 18% the second year of this bull currently.

The S&P 500 is up 7.5% YTD.

Just know the odds of it staying around here is pretty slim.

Only four times going back 70 plus years did it gain between 8-10%.

The odds favor much higher or lower from here. What do you think it'll be?

Want to upset your favorite 🐻?

Tell them this bull market is extremely young, not even 19 mos old yet.

Should it end now, this would be the quickest and weakest bull ever.

The avg bull lasts nearly 5 years and gains more than 150%. This one is 43% and just over 18 mos old.

The S&P 500:

Is up 7.5% YTD
Just had a standard 5% mild correction to shake off the bullish train
Gained 10% back-to-back quarters, so some break is perfectly normal
Is only 2.4% away from a new high

2-year yield down 25 basis points the past three days. That is a huge move.

As we've been saying for over a month now, the swing from 7 cuts to potentially none was too extreme.

The opportunity was better inflation data and lower yields. We are seeing it.

It isn't everyday jobs miss estimates.

According to Bespoke only 3 of the previous 24 months saw jobs miss.

Make that 4 of 25.
