Even on holiday I get to do some RE learning! I’m in South Korea today 🇰🇷 visited the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple with lots of Buddhist influences. WCPS #WCPSRE

Been to Kamakura Daibutsu (Great Buddha) today in Japan🇯🇵! The bronzed Great Buddha of Kamakura or Kamakura Daibutsu dates back to the 13th century and is the second tallest bronze Buddha in Japan I even went inside it! ☸️🪷WCPS #WCPSRE

Today I’m on the Juju island in South Korea at the Yakcheonsa Temple. Built in 1981, it is the largest Buddhist temple in Asia, lavishly constructed in the style of the early Joseon Dynasty. WCPS #WCPSRE

A new book to add to our library to show other cultures and languages this one’s in Japanese and tells a lovely story of a volcanoe I visited! WCPS Claire
