At the end of a week where cooperation among development banks has been one of the main themes, I’m delighted to put my name to this joint statement - working together as a system means we can deliver more effectively and increase our impact.

I was very happy to sign this memorandum with World Bank Ajay Banga. It will bring our cooperation, also with IFC and MIGA, to the next level. Delivering impact together is more needed than ever in the face of so many challenges.

Meeting Secretary Janet Yellen was a good opportunity to thank her and Treasury Department for supporting the The EBRD, especially in our work in Ukraine, as well as our other countries and including our upcoming expansion into sub Saharan Africa.

Continuing our theme of cooperation, I caught up with my friends Akinwumi A. Adesina and Ilan Goldfajn in a discussion of Regional Development Bank heads hosted by Inter-American Development Bank. My week in the Baltics ends in Vilnius with very productive talks with 🇱🇹PM Ingrida Šimonytė and @gintareskaiste on how we can support Lithuania’s investment priorities: energy efficiency, private sector and equity ecosystem. Also we discussed our shared commitment to Ukraine.

In Vilnius today, I participated in the Three Seas Summit and Business Forum summit to share the The EBRD’s perspective on accelerating the connectivity of the region. The #3Seas initiative is more important now than ever, working to integrate the region’s open economies and connect Ukraine and Moldova too.

I’m in Riga, continuing my visit to the Baltics. It was a pleasure to meet PM Evika Siliņa 🇱🇻🇺🇦 and hear about Latvia’s ambitions to develop its renewable energy potential and strengthen its capital markets. We also confirmed our shared commitment to supporting Ukraine.

I’m in the Baltic countries this week, excited to hear more about their investment priorities and to reiterate The EBRD’s commitment to the region. In Estonia, I met partners including EBRD governor Mart Võrklaev and heard from Sten Tamkivi about Estonia’s impressive digital innovation.

Our first opportunity to welcome the new Finance Minister of our newest shareholder to The EBRD's HQ here in London.

The The EBRD's #Ukraine family was out in force in London last night for an exhibition of artefacts collected by the War Fragments Museum.

It was moving to see these small objects on display and the event was a reminder of the different ways we support the country and its people.

Our support for #Ukraine 's economy is wide ranging and this evening at our HQ in London Yulia Svyrydenko and I discussed:
