Congratulations to Historic New England in Boston, MA who was approved for Climate Smart Humanities Organizations funding! The historic preservation organization will implement climate justice goals & strategies for all 39 of their historic properties.
Congratulations to Detroit Hist Society in Detroit, MI who was approved for Climate Smart Humanities Organizations funding! The Detroit Historical Society will develop a climate action plan to protect 300,000 artifacts in their collection from extreme weather events.
Congratulations to San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation in San Antonio, TX who was approved for Climate Smart Humanities Organizations funding! The city will develop a Climate Heritage Strategic Plan to protect their cultural heritage & strengthen climate resiliency through culture-based approaches.
