It is with deep sadness that the National Commission for Refugees and IDPs announces the passing of Mr. Mohamud Hussein Geedi. Mr. Geedi was a veteran civil servant who dedicated over forty years of service to NCRI. May Allah grant him mercy and his loved ones sabr.

At an exhibition marking the 2-year anniversary of the #DanQaran administration held in Mogadishu today, NCRI, led by Commissioner Safia Mohamed, alongside Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs & Rec and other government agencies, showcased its achievements over the past two years.

Commissioner Safia Mohamed chaired NCRI’s weekly meeting yesterday. Attended by Deputy Commissioner Abdullahi Adan and other senior officials, the meeting focused on the upcoming implementation of the E-Institution system across all areas of NCRI.

Commissioner @Safiamseed met with Acting Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of the National Civil Service Commission, Mr. Ali Mumin Mudey, and other senior NCSC executives. They discussed priority issues such as human resource management and ways to strengthen collaboration.

The Commissioner of NCRI, Safia Mohamed, had a productive meeting with @IGad_caep Director @ambgamal, in Mogadishu today. Discussions centered on solutions for better climate adaptation and support for the Displacement Affected Communities in Somalia.
