“We’re going on a Stick Hunt. We’re going to catch a long one. And a short one!” As part of our Stick Man mini topic, P1a 🌈StMonicasMilton🌈 investigated Length by gathering sticks, sorting according to Long or Short then ordering by length. ⭐️

P1a 🌈StMonicasMilton🌈 have been learning about the Seasons. We sorted Summer and Winter clothes, dressed Stick Man for Summer and used ‘hot’ and ‘cold’ colours to create seasonal collages featuring Stick Man. ☀️ ❄️ 🍃 🍁 🎨 ⭐️

“Oh no! It’s a gruffalo!” P1a 🌈StMonicasMilton🌈 are learning to sequence a story. We helped each other to put the pictures in order. Then we worked in groups to create story boards. Finally, we retold The Gruffalo in our own words using loud, clear voices! 📖 🌟 ❤️
