It’s sinful that so many must struggle to find healthy solutions to their mental situations & suicidal ideations because of how society views/treats those in need. Please remember that there are ways to salvage your life & to survive w/o suffering. Suicide isn’t your salvation.

No one is immune from being suicidal, and no one is safe from the aftereffects of a death by suicide. With so much on the line, you’d think people would be more positively involved and working together to better the situation for everyone involved.

When your mind is telling your heart to stop beating, it’s because your mind is afraid of your heart beating it.

Same circumstances. If I told you that I loved you, you’d give me many reasons why it couldn’t be possible. If I told you that I hated you, you’d accept it without question and allow it to hurt your heart and poison your soul.

You don’t understand why so many people who struggle with mental illness die by suicide. When the illness, the help, and society’s perception are all grim and fraught. Things need to change, or we’re going to continue to lose lives unnecessarily and heartbreakingly so.

No innocent person who struggles with mental illness deserves a death by suicide, but they do deserve a chance to live a mentally healthy and happy life.

Today is mental health awareness day. So is tomorrow and the day after that. Every single day is. Take care of yourself and those around you. Life is a team sport, and if we don’t play like it is, we will lose many games and many more teammates.

No one wants to be considered a failure. There is, however, one time where being a failure is anything but. It’s when there was a suicide attempt, but thankfully, it failed. Every great success story has its fair share of adversities that lead to many triumphs.

When cancer kills someone, they’ve died of cancer, but when suicide due to mental illness kills someone, society says they killed themselves. If you don’t understand why this is wrong, consider yourself blessed.

It’s mind-boggling that “suicidal thoughts” are a possible side effect of medications prescribed for mental illness. That’s like taking something for gas that may cause diarrhea. We need to do better for those who are struggling mentally, or we’ll keep losing lives to suicide.
