We have made vast improvements and substantial advancements in cosmetic surgery. However, in certain parts of the world, the best we can do for those struggling with suicidal ideation due to mental complications is to offer them assisted suicide. Do you realize how crazy this is?

You should be able to rest in peace when you’re still alive & not only after you die. There should be adequate/affordable mental healthcare available to all who need it. It shouldn’t be more frightening to get help to survive than it is to live w/the illness/thoughts of suicide.

No longer does the monster hide under your bed. Now, it resides in your mind and goes by the name of depression. He’s scary and dangerous. He’s hoping to destroy you and doesn’t mind spilling blood if necessary.

Depression. It made me ask for a prescription for Ambien, which I saved for months until I had enough pills to make sure I didn’t fail. It had me believing that suicide was my savior & the only way to find salvation. It lied to me! It corrupted my confidence & tried to kill me.
