In May 2023, a huge fire tore through our Corrimony nature reserve. But an amazingly generous response to our wildfire appeal is helping to restore the native woodland. Thank you to RSPB members, supporters and our partners Barratt Developments and Trees for Life.

Flat calm waters in the #Minch this morning allowed for sightings of a pod of white-beaked #dolphins (photo below taken a while back & is purely representative) & plenty of harbour #porpoises incl. a teeny weeny calf! Love my morning #dog walks on this 'rock' 🐶🐬🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥰

It would be fabulous if they started breeding again. Our crews and guests will be keeping a beady eye out as we head round Hirta and onto Boreray and the Stacs. 👍

Visits to the Treshnish Isles are always an amazing experience - listen to the sound and sight of this seabird colony on Lunga today. The only thing missing is smell-a-vision!

One of the glories of a visit to St Kilda is sailing around Borerary and Stacs Lee and Armin - with the amazing geology and the sight and sound of a Gannet colony often reduces guests and crew to awed silence, however many times they've seen it.
