Thanks to #Coulsdon volunteer gardeners and RSPCA South London Branch for tidying up Chaldon Way Gardens. Seeing plants in the large formal beds brought back memories of when they were cared for by #CroydonCouncil - the photo is from July 2018.

Autumn is nearly here, and the #FarthingDowns volunteers are starting to clear the #hawthorn that is starting to take over the #Chalkdownland. We were careful to check for late nesting birds, and we left the few bushes that had a good crop of #haws.
