For 25 years, the Toll-like Receptor pathway was considered a series of distinct protein complexes that drive inflammation. Today, we report that the entire pathway, from receptor to transcription factor, is executed from within one complex—the myddosome. nature.com/articles/s4158…
Have you ever wondered how often N- 🟦and O- 🟨glycans modify the same peptide? We did too! Check out our new preprint online now, spearheaded by Joann Chongsaritsinsuk with help from Valentina Rangel-Angarita, @keira_Erol, and Taryn Lucas! 🧵👇
Gut-Brain axis: Gut microbial factors, including microbial networks and bidirectional host-microbe interactions, predict severity of multiple sclerosis. Check out our new paper in Nature Microbiology nature.com/articles/s4156….

New review out in Science Magazine from Jacob Wilde and Kevin Foster, that I had the honor to meddle in as the resident immunologist. What possibilities do hosts have to influence their microbiomes? May contain pandas... Enjoy! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
Extremely happy to share that our work on how #antibiotics usage long time ago can impair #gut #mucus function through the #microbiota is now published in Gut Microbes Taylor & Francis Research Insights! tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
I am incredibly happy to announce that I will set up my group on Epithelium-Microbiota Crosstalk ETH Zürich this fall 🤩 We will be hosted by the brilliant Emma Slack #IStandWithUkraine Lab, so excited to get started!
