Camera folks...thoughts on the new Blackmagic Design cameras announced at #NAB2024 ? Have to admit, those 12K & 17K models sparked my interest, but not enough to pull me away from Sony. I know few folks locally who shoot with BMD cameras, so I'm curious to know what others think.

When I was kid, I marveled at what the folks at Industrial Light & Magic could do. I still do. But with the tools coming our way, it's like we're getting a small part of their magic right in our NLE. This is just amazing.

I don't take a lot of taxis, but is it somewhat normal for the driver to ask you to use your phone to GPS to your location ? Aren't they supposed to do that?
