We're aware of a fire on West Bench in the Sage Mesa area. We are asking people to avoid the area as crews are responding. Further updates will be published as required.

The RDOS EOC is aware of a fire near Selby Park in West Bench in Electoral Area “F”. The EOC will continue to monitor.

Effective at 12 noon PDT on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, the Category 1 campfire prohibition will be rescinded in the Kamloops Fire Centre. The current prohibition of any Category 2 and Category 3 open fire remains in effect.
